We all know that excitement reaches its peak when the beautiful weather starts to show up, but it’s important to start the season on the right foot, or rather, on a good saddle. 😉

Pro Performance and its team are here to guide you through the steps to follow; we invite you to follow their recommendations.

First and foremost, it’s important to check the condition of the battery: After being inactive for several months, your motorcycle’s battery may have difficulty operating. Indeed, a stationary battery gradually discharges. If you disconnected your motorcycle’s battery before winter, start by reconnecting it after checking its charge level. If the charge is low, fully recharge it with a charger before reinstalling it in the motorcycle.

Here’s a comprehensive list of items to inspect during the general check-up of your motorcycle:

– Look for leaks around the motorcycle, such as oil leaks.
– Tighten nuts, check cables, etc.
– Ensure clutch and brake levers are functioning.
– Check cold liquid levels: engine oil, gearbox oil, coolant, and brake fluid.
– Check brake pad wear and general condition of the discs.
– Check tire pressure and wear.
– Remember to lubricate certain items such as connectors, threads, cables, screws, as well as kickstand and pedal joints, etc.
– Perform an oil change; It’s highly recommended to change the motorcycle’s oil once a year. If you haven’t already done so at the beginning of winter when storing the motorcycle, do it now.

Lastly, don’t forget to check that your registrations, insurance, and driver’s licenses are up to date. 😁

Looking forward to seeing you on the roads and in the dealership.

Drive safely & have a great season!
